Sabril started dancing at the age of eight. Born in and growing up in Singapore, he took on various genres such as Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Latin Ballroom, training progressively and attaining top positions in competitions locally and the Asia-Pacific. Sabril was known to be an award-winning youth dancer dancing professionally in Contemporary, Modern Jazz and Latin Competitions locally and overseas representing Jitterbugs Swingapore, WannaStudio and The Dancesport Academy and LASALLE College of the Arts. One of his most notable achievements was when he was selected from over 3000 dancers worldwide to receive the GET THE BEAT Most Entertaining Soloist award in 2017, based on his memorable Jazz Solo, “Fireball” by Weicheng Yang. He furthered his studies in a Diploma in Dance programme in LASALLE and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). He performed in LASALLE and NAFA shows working with professional choreographers from around the world such as Melissa Quek, Susan Yeong, Bernice Lee, Goh Xian Tian, Dr Filomar Tariao, Gillian Tan, Christina Chan, Jeffrey Tan, Ezekiel Oliviera, Richard Chappell, Lionel Araya and Reneejo Euriel Villarosa. He was also a scholar trainee with the renowned Dance Companies, Frontier Danceland (2018/19) and Singapore Dance Theatre (2019/20).

Ever since joining NAFA, he focused on Contemporary and Ballet conservatory style training in school and Scholar programmes with Frontier Danceland & Singapore Ballet. Under NAFA he also traveled overseas for immersions and festivals with Western Australia of Performing Arts and ASWARA (Malaysia). He has attended overseas dance intensives such as Boston Conservatory Summer Intensive 2019 and been awarded Scholarships to programmes such as JOFFREY BALLET NYC Summer Dance Intensive and JEFFREY DANCE ACADEMY En Pointe International Convention (E.P.I.C)

Sabril graduated in 2020 with NAFA’s Dance Diploma with Distinction and awarded the “NAFA BEST GRADUATE AWARD” & “Mendaki Award”. He was invited to work as a guest artist with Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre, Sigma Contemporary Dance, Music & Drama Company, Nagi Contemporary Dance Corps and NAFA. In 2022 he was invited as a guest artist to perform with Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre at Esplanade's Huayi Dance Festival: "If It's Now". He was also invited by NAFA to perform in a principal role at NAFA's grand performance, Crossings 2022. Simultaneously, Sabril taught as a coach, assistant teacher, and choreographer at Lighthouse Dance, BalletBody, Jitterbugs Swingapore and Slap Dance Studio(Pole).

Sabril received a Full-Tuition Scholarship at Boston Conservatory(BoCo) at Berklee, U.S.A, now studying in the BFA in Contemporary Dance programme graduating in Spring 2024. In just his first school semester of Fall 2022, Sabril had a spectacular opportunity to work with the distinguished artist, Kurt Douglas (Limón Dance Company) - performing with the corps and as a soloist in the World Premiere, “In The Mist of EBB” in the fall showcase, From The Ground Up at BoCo. In the following Spring semester 2023, he was given the marvelous chance and a spectacular role to perform Bill T. Jones' signature piece, “D-Man in the Waters”(1989), working with the reconstructor and original company member, Germaul Barnes.
